Prashant Mitta (Managing Partner, Think Energy Partners )

Prashant currently is an investor and entrepreneur focused on the Clean Water and Clean Energy industries. He, along with Think Capital,co-founded Think Energy in 2003. He has been instrumental in developing a highly successful and profitable track record for Think Energy, which during the past fifteen years, acquired and restructured five special situation energy assets in the United States and India. In addition, to Think Energy Partners, He is an investor and director of World Water Works Holdings, Inc. a US-based company that deploys technologies that deliver Clean Water and Clean Energy from Wastewater. He also contributes and manages a non-profit foundation that supports underprivileged children.

Prior to Think Energy& Think Water, He was Vice President at Connect Capital, a venture capital firm owned by Insight Capital, Microsoft and Think Capital. Previously, He served as a Director for Enron International in both Project Finance and Corporate Development capacities (including MA&A). He has participated as an investor, principle or manager in the development of or financing of over USD 2 Billion in energy project.

Prashant earned a BS in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Finance at Columbia Business School.

Ravishankar Tumuluri (Managing Partner,Think Energy Partners)

Ravishankar, a seasoned power sector professional, oversees the operations of Think Energy. Ravishankar led Think Energy’s foray into the solar business, which include securing institutional capital from EverStream Capital, a San-Francisco based renewable energy asset management firm. Ravishankar, as the Managing Director, is responsible for leading TEPSOL Projects Private Limited, a joint venture between Think Energy and EverStream Capital, set up to develop solar projects in India with a focus on the Commercial &Industrial space. TEPSOL Projects is currently developing solar projects in India aggregating to over 200 MW.

Ravishankar was active in the conventional power projects development and financing space from 1996 to 2008, having worked on a vast spectrum of projects including, gas-fired, coal-fired, hydroelectric and integrated water and power projects spanning across India, the Middle East, and Europe.

From 2008 -2012, Ravishankar led the solar project business groups of two major Indian conglomerates, working on photovoltaic project development business across India, Europe, North America and South Africa. During this period Ravishankar led the development of one of the first set of grid-connected utility-scale solar projects in India (a 5 MW solar project at Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu funded by a US$ 4 million grant from IFC), the development of 45 MW of solar projects in the state of Gujarat, the development a portfolio of over 100 MW of solar projects in Europe.

Ravishankar has a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Power) from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India and has done post-graduation in management from Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad), India.

Raj Vanjani (Partner, Think Energy Partners Solar India )

Raj is a private investor and entrepreneur focused in the areas of Energy, Education and Technology. He has recently joined Think Energy family as a shareholder in Think Energy Partners Solar India LLC.

Earlier, after joining Teachers Placement Group in 2005, Raj led the organization from a family project to being responsible for one the largest international teacher exchange programs in the USA — having helped sponsor hundreds of international Math, Science & Special Education teachers from India for securing teaching assignmentsthroughout the United States. Raj and the Teachers Placement Group have been featured in the NY Times, WSJ, Times of India and NBC. Rajcurrently sits on the Bethpage Board of Education’s Budget Committee, and Children’s Hope India II Board. In addition to his work with Teachers Placement Group, Raj is involved with several start-ups in India and the US.

Raj earned a BS in Economics from Stanford University.

Sandip Agarwal (Partner, Think Energy Partners Solar India)

Sandip is the Chief Executive Officer of TEPSOL Projects Private Limited and leads the day to day management of Think Energy’s operations in India. Sandip played a leading role in developing Think Energy’s portfolio of 6 solar projects aggregating to over 104 MW in Telangana, which were successfully commissioned in 2017 and is currently leading the development of a solar project portfolio aggregating to over 200 MW by TEPSOL Projects Private Limited. Recently, Sandip was conferred with Corporate Young Leader 2017-18 by Public Relations Council of India. Under Sandip’s leadership, TEPSOL Projects was recognized and awarded as Rising Rooftop Developer of the Year 2018at India Rooftop Solar Congress 2018 organized by Solar Quarter

Sandip has over a decade of experience in developing, financing and managing infrastructure projects, which has enabled him to lead large scale solar power projects in various markets including Italy, US, Germany, United Kingdom, and India.Prior to Think Energy Solar India, Sandip has led consulting & project development roles for almost 6 years. He was associated with a large Indiansolar module manufacturer and developer and was spearheading their solar projects in key markets around the world. Prior to joining the solar sector, Sandip hadthree years of consulting experience primarily in infrastructure, banking and manufacturing segments. Apart from solar, Sandip have interest in water, education and real estate businesses.

Sandip is an MBA graduate in Finance and is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
